Editing for print and online I’ve edited International Science Grid This Week, a weekly e-zine showcasing the scientific achievements enabled by grid computing, and CSIRO’s Scientriffic magazine, a children’s science magazine. I love creating publications: from the words and images to the layout and design. |

Editing English as a second language I’ve worked as a freelance copy editor, specialising in editing scientific papers written by scientists for whom English is a second language. I’ve also worked with writers from everywhere from Russia to Taiwan, Italy to India, and I have extensive experience in editing English written as a second language. |

Editing translations I’ve worked as a technical editor for a biotechnoloogy patent company in Japan, and also as a freelance translator (Japanese to English) of technical patents, scientific papers and web sites. I prefer now to edit attempted translations than to translate from scratch. |
